Ok, ok – I do take my makeup off most nights, promise! But sometimes, you fall asleep on the sofa, or you’re just really drunk and doing a double cleanse and hot cloth polish is not going to happen. If you’re a lazy gal and this never, evet happens, that’s fine. Use these 3 simple products do the bare minimum to keep your skin clean, clear and hydrated!
Step 1 – wipe over your face with micellar water
Simply wet a cotton pad with micellar cleansing water, wipe over face, hold over eyes to get mascara and eyeliner and repeat with new pads until it comes away clean. I love the Garnier one as it’s cheap and it does the job.
Step 2 – use exfoliation pads
Exfoliation is key for all skin types – it clears up clogged pores, renews skin cells and leaves you with brighter, plumper skin! I love the Nip & Fab Glycolic Fix pads – one a day if your skin is blemishy, one a week if it isn’t! These are just brilliant as they exfoliate chemically (and gently), no abrasive and time consuming scrubs.
Step 3 – add moisture
This can be done in a number of ways, sure using a serum, oil then a cream might be the ideal method, but in a hurry, pick just one product that works! My go to is Vichy Normaderm Night Detox, it doesn’t break me out or clog my pores, but still gives me hydrated and plump skin!
In the morning, follow the same routine but skip the exfoliation pads and use a lighter moisturiser.
Voila! Simple, quick and you can do it all from your bed!
